I like Star Wars better because of Darth Vader and the lightsabers

Star Trek BY FAR.

It has far better philosophical messages, better humor, and an overall better sense of character development.

Star Wars is all action and no story.

Well, I find myself referencing both in conversation. However, Star Wars is just plain boring to me. I finally began watching the old Star Trek series, and...it's just so cheesy that it's awesome. Shatner's strange word placement and overacting, Nimoy's stiff yet intelligent portrayal of Mr. Spock, and the ridiculous plots and monsters that tag along. I'm not sure about TNG, but I know I'm beginning to really dig the first generation.

I have watched 30 minutes of Star Wars and a few minutes of Star Trek but I hate Stars Wars so I voted Star Trek.

Star Trek, since as Aegis said, not as action-only and... lame in some parts.

Based off the limited episodes of TNG and Original series, I think I prefer Original series better. =P
