How do you guys think the mini star aspect will work. Will they disappear after someone get one???
So the mini-stars makes an apparence again? Interesting. And it seems to be some sort of mini-stars spaces going around, as noticed on the picture that have been posted in the original post. I'm really curious to know what these spaces are doing. Also, this board is a sky-themed board, I like that.

I'm almost sure it does the same effect, changing players' turns. So I'm sure it's nothing new.
So there are four discrete sections... Maybe the first to arrive at each checkpoint gets a ministar bonus.

At least, that's how I see it.
I assume that if you reach the end before the others, you'll get yourself a nice ministar bonus before the game actually ends itself (or you keep earning ministars until every player reaches the end, though that's unlikely)
It also shows that not all the courses are a simple race to the end, as Yoshi isn't in last despite being furthest from the end.

After seeing this and another video, though - there are sure a lot of minigames being played in this mode.
They really should have given the ministars at the doubled amount from the start of the game, and not in just the last section.
