Songs with the Most Impact on You

Which songs have impacted you the most in who you are?

One of the songs that have impacted me is "Tell Your World." Without it I wouldn't have gone into Vocaloid in the first place, and this song also boosted my determination to join the forums I've joined, such as this one. Another is "Motteke! Sailor Fuku" which brought me into anime.

Kiss from a Rose - Seal
Song played at a very important funeral.

Save Me - Nicki Minaj
Who would've thought she could make a good song. Nostalgia levels get set to extreme on this song and I played it a lot in a tough bit of my life.

Kakariko Village - Zelda 25th Symphony Anniversary
I like to listen to this in the morning and I find myself feeling and acting like a completely different person that day.

Uprising - Muse
This song isn't close to my top 100 favorites, in fact if it came up on my iPod now I'd probably skip it. But it was the song that got me into the band which started the Snowball effect of getting into indie music.

Mogwai Fear Satan - Mogwai
Good music for managing bad moods.

Solitude is Bliss - Tame Impala
One of the few songs I've read the lyrics and said "yep, this is me." in my head.

This is an easy one... A majority of Ellie Goulding's songs have greatly helped me through bad relationships, bad times, and such... It's nice. I love her! She's such a lovely singer! She's one of my inspirations! The other singer who's my inspiration is Piet Arion. He's an extremely beautiful singer! :) Ties with Ellie sort of~

Luigi's Mansion Theme-Just kind of me in a nutshell and I love it, a great musical theme for a great game, a symbol of change. I remember thinking about this song, even when I was away from the game.

Ghostbusters-Another song I really like, not only is it plain awesome, but it's the anthem of one of my favorite movies of all time, and who knows? The music above might just owe a huge debt to it.

Aerith's Theme-
The all to short moment I first met Aeris and her death changed my outlook on life itself and its meaning...forever. Her theme perfectly captures all of those feelings of the characters and players alike and still is the song that I turn to when I'm feeling emotional or want to convey something that is, and paired with Aerith being laid in the waters of the Forgotten Capital, I do cry sometimes. It's beautiful and moving, just like the young woman it's about."
