Welp. This happened. I mean, kudos to you Nintendo, for branching out and letting others use your characters for their games, but I don't think Skylanders is where you want to start.
With that said, the designs created for Bowser and DK are pretty rad.

Donkey Kong looks ugly as all hell.
There will be Bowser and Donkey Kong amiibo for this game. There are also dark variants of Bowser and Donkey Kong.
Other Nintendo characters were going to be considered, but they were all shot down. Princess Peach was going to be considered, but Nintendo said Mario "heroes/humans" were off-limits. Kirby was another candidate, but HAL seemed to be protective of its Kirby IP. Star Fox characters were also considered as well. However, with Star Fox Zero coming out soon, Nintendo feared that adding them would hurt sales for Star Fox Zero.
