Pre-Season Power Rankings

Each week I'll try to make power rankings, which will basically rank everyone by how valuable they are in the competition. This special pre-season edition will rank who looks good to get drafted early and who might go later on.


1.  Aegis- Yes, the former Admin of the forum gets the #1 ranking today. Aegis's all around skills can be very dangerous and he will definitely be an early pick.


2. Berry- Berry will also go very early in the draft, Berry's wide skill set and being online all the time will be key for many events. Like Aegis, any negatives get outweighed by the positives.


3- HuntMac- This can go 2 ways: 1 is that HuntMac might be too high for someone who joined about a month ago and 2 Huntmac might be worth a #1 pick. Which round he goes in will be determined but he will not go low.


4- Snowy- Like him or not (or whether he likes you or not really) Snowy will be very valuable all around. Getting him teamed up with the people of his liking will be key though.


5- DKH- Maybe one of the underrated people yet overrated considering his ties with the man with the #1 overall selection. Beyond that his hidden skill set will be key throughout the season.


6- MattC- Matt might not go in the first round, maybe not even the 2nd if the cards dont play out, but regardless Matt's high activity will fare well.


7- Dark Boo- Dark Boo will not be overlooked in this draft, look for him to go early.


8- Spirit- Look for Spirit to go in an early round as well, he can be a big pickup if he drops lower than the 3rd round.


9- Ether- How much can Ether do? That's the question but he can be worth something, at least a top 10 ranking in the Power Rankings for now.


10- Chubbo- Chubbo's long streak of inactivity might affect his draft position significantly but for now he rounds out the top 10.



11-21 will be posted later today. Discuss if you want.
 
11- Tova- Tova's gaming skills can come in handy for any arcade-style events. His activity is also a plus. Which round he goes in will be interesting.

12- Shaby- Shaby could be a possible steal in a later round given the activity is there, if taken Shaby can give the team an extra boost.

13- Billy- Too high? Maybe. But Billy will most likely go somewhere in rounds 4-6, most like in the middle.

14- Socc- Socc's activity can help, it's hard to determine when to pick him without picking him too early, he's a mid rounder but at the same time you'll want to at least pick him up before someone else swipes him.

15- Espeon- Espeon's true potential remains unseen as he has not been around too long so he will be one to chance on, but the risk might not be too bad considering the flashes of potential he has shown.

16- Daisy- She might actually be going too high at 16, she'd most likely join a team for moral support but still a nice addition to pick up if she's still available in round 5 or 6.

17- Psuedo- Now here's where it gets a little tricky. It's round 6 and you have a few members left, but it's hard to choose who fills up your roster. Just because they get drafted low doesn't mean there impact will be small. The last 2 rounds will be critical to get the best deal. Psuedo might not be a bad late round deal.

18- Polar- Polar would be a risk or reward to take, his contribution can be little to somewhat.

19- EpicWaluigi- Questions all around with Waluigi but he might get picked in the 6th round being more of a veteran on the forum than the 2 above him so you'd know what you're getting more from him.

20- Caleb- And Caleb does not get last place, simply because of activity purposes. You never know.

21- Woopy- Mainly unknown, rounds out the power rankings for this week at least.

I can stream the draft if people wanna watch. I didn't plan to but I can. But honestly you would've been top 5 material if you weren't gone for like the whole 2011 so far.

I'm fine either way. Yeah, wish life would straighten out, but being in the top 5 sounds cool. =P
My mind's in NFL Draft mode. =P

Number to the left will be where the member got drafted and the +/- number in parenthesis will show how much spots they went up or down from my rankings.
