I was wondering, why is there a section for every game in the series but Advance? I know it's not a good game, but not that bad...
No Mario Party Advance section?

I was thinking something similar myself just a few hours ago: "Why not have a massive overhaul giving each Mario Party game prior to 9 its own individual Child Board under their respective consoles (Though I guess an exception could be made for a "Handheld" Board since the portable entries tend to follow the "One entry per console" rule) similarly to 9, Island Tour, 10 and whatever comes next, so it could be easier to find topics on specific games?
Mario Party Advance wasn't that good of a party game to begin with. It wasn't a game that most people enjoyed during the time it was out, so it doesn't really need a board dedicated to it.
And Luigifan, that would be too many Mario Party boards at once. Just a board for all Mario Parties for one system is good enough.

You know, I was asking myself the same thing 2 years ago as of why there isn't a board dedicated to this game, heheh. Yeah, you'll say, not popular, but you know some people can enjoy it noneteless, don't you think?

Being completely honest here, I actually liked Advance when it came out. Until MPDS came out, that is. It stuck far more to what the console versions provided, and then I wondered what things Advance could have done. To me it's just a mediocre title in the series that hasn't gotten much love.

Well. I guess a section for this game will be non-existent.
So its perfectly okay to have a board about Island Tour, which got pretty crappy reviews, but not Advance? TBH it was one of my favorite GBA games.

Probably because Island Tour was the latest one released so everyone was talking and speculating about it, where as Advance hasn't been talked about much. I doubt whether a game gets it's own section shouldn't be based upon whether people liked it or not.

Island Tour and 9 had boards because they were announced and released during the lifetime of the forum. Lots of speculation and discussion before and after the release. I believe Advance was part of the Wii/DS board when it was under a different name, but it never had anything more than a general topic. Considering I don't even see a general topic for Advance, there is no demand for an entire board. Here is the MPA topic I revived from the Archives:
