Here, I will be posting all your mafia needs when you play my games. Please do not post while I'm editing!
Currently, I am in the phase of editing. (almost done!)

NEWS:

~EDIT: Final decision! Sign-ups are open, and will end Sunday, October 11th as of now. Game will start October 13th. ;)

Here are all the basic rules you should follow when playing my mafia games:
1. Please try to be active---usually every day phase is good enough.
2. DO NOT EDIT YOUR POSTS! Instead, just double post.
3. Always bold your votes or it won't count. It will make it easier for me to navigate your posts.
4. If you don't want to lynch somebody, just say "No Lynch".
5. Please do not talk about the content of my games on the shoutbox or chatboxes. It may ruin the game. Please try to post in the thread instead.
6. No talking in the night phases unless you are already dead and want to talk about things irrelevant to the topic of the mafia game!
7. Try to keep swearing to a minimum. Bullying and adult content will not be tolerated.
8. Have fun!!! :D

Possible Roles:

Toad (Townie): The most common role, these townies can lynch daily---otherwise they have no special powers. These people appear as not guilty to Mario.

Mario (Cop): On the townie side, this person can investigate one person to see if he/she is guilty or not.

Peach (Nurse): On the townie side, this person can heal one person if they died that night. Is allowed to heal "himself". This person is found not guilty to Mario.

Dark Toad (Miller): On the townie side, this person also has no special power. However, this person is found guilty to Mario.

Super Toad (Bulletproof Townie): Same as a Toad, this person can be saved for one night throughout the game. Still, this person can be lynched during the day. Like a Toad, this person is found as not guilty to Mario.

Bob-omb: Acts like a normal townie; however if he gets killed, the killer will die (King Boo instead of Boo if both are in game). If lynched during the day, the final person who lynched for him also dies. (Is guilty to Mario*)

Boo (Mafioso/Mafia Goon): This person is on the mafia and is guilty to Mario. He helps King Boo (see below) create decisions on who to kill each night.

King Boo (Godfather): The leader of the mafia, this person creates the decisions each night. However, this person appears as not guilty to Mario.

Bowser (Altered Serial Killer): This person is on the mafia side, and does NOT know who his fellow mafia members are. This person can decide to kill ONE time for the whole game. If he sees the mafia killing the same person, they will unite and will be able to know their fellow members. Appears as Guilty to Mario.

Elite Koopa (Vigilante): A person on the town side who can choose who to kill each night. Appears as Not Guilty to Mario.

Dark Peach (Cupid): Each night, Cupid chooses two people to be a "couple". If one of these people dies during the night, the other dies as well. Appears as Guilty to Mario.

Rosalina: On the town side, Rosalina can do one of these 4 things during the night if she wishes: Kill, Investigate, Protect, and "Cupid Ability". Appears as Not Guilty to Mario.

Mafia Terms you should know:

Bandwagon: A group of people who gang up on one person in order to lynch him/her.
Bulletproof Townie: A special type of townie that can survive one "kill" during the night throughout the game; this does not apply to being lynched during the day.
Cop: A person on the townie side who is allowed to investigate one person each night to see if he/she is guilty or not. Remember, millers (townie side) are shown as guilty, and the godfather (mafia) is shown as not guilty.
Godfather: The leader of the mafia who creates decisions each night on who to kill. Appears not guilty to the cop.
Host: The person on charge of the game that sets deadlines and organizes the game.
Independent: A person that has no teammates to help him/her. Usually, independents are overpowered.
Innocent: A person who is known to be not guilty and is trying to kill the mafia.
Lynch: Another term for a vote, lynches are used to create decisions during the day phases.
Mafia: The "team" of players that are trying to defeat the town.
Mafioso: A type of mafia role that helps the godfather create decisions.
Mason: A group of people who know each other to be innocent.
Miller: A person on the townie side that appears to be guilty to Mario.
Modkill: Getting killed by the host/moderator due to a lack of activity, disobeying rules, etc.
Nurse: A person on the townie side who can "heal" one person per night.
Phase: A time during the day, which is either a day phase where lynching occurs, or a night phase where night roles (by mafia, cop, doctor) happen.
Role: A special power that is granted to each player that will affect the game.
Roleclaim: A person revealing that they obtained the role they received from the host/mod at the beginning of the game.
Scum: Another term for somebody on the mafia.
Sheeping: Voting for somebody without any reasoning---only because you WANT to vote!
Townie/Vanilla Townie: Somebody trying to defeat the mafia---vanilla townies have no special power and appear innocent to the cop.
Vigilante: A person on the town side that decides a person to kill each night.

Blue: Term that should be very easy and should know if playing a mafia game.

Green: Term that may seem familiar, but may not know exactly what it means.
Orange: Term that may seem a bit confusing and may partially know what it means. Not commonly used.
Red: Term that you may not know that may not be used in mafia games as often as others.
Purple: Term that is rarely used in mafia games, is very complicated in the definition.

FAQs:

  • What happens when I'm killed?
In my games, usually you make one final post saying goodbye. Remember, you are NOT part of the game after. However, you can talk about irrelevant topics with your fellow "dead boos" during the night phases and the endgame.
  • If a vigilante kills somebody that a mafia member kills, what happens?
See above. There is an order on who makes actions first. (SPOILER: Vigilante kills after mafia, so it is impossible for them to encounter.)
  • How inactive do I have to be to get modkilled?
Usually 3 phases---including Day and Night. (so 6 total phases)

And yeah, sorry if you don't understand some of this---these roles and maybe definitions will be heard of in future games! ;)
