Well damn after 4 years or so there was finally a new Mario Party, the series this site's based upon. I remember the site staff had to be all over the stories and stuff leading up to the release date.

Yeah, you, me, and SZ were all busy trying to get every bit of news on Mario Party 9 to the site for our viewers. It was great when we did it all. Plus, I remember all the things we still had to add even after the release. Unfortunately, that is still ongoing.
I remember being super hyped for it and then I was disappointed when the game actually turned out to be a Mario version of Wii Party.

Meh. And not a single care was given that day...
I was super excited until the launch.. I honestly didn't care for it.
I was iffy about the gameplay style, but it was pretty disappointing.

The game is great to play on the first day at launch. After a few months of playing, it got boring. The only thing good is the minigames.

Like other members, i got my hopes up and it came crashing down like hard. I thought DK was finally going to make a return after all these years, and the evidences had me going. The car mode just made it worst as well as other aspect in the game, altogether it was just a disgrace.
I was just more excited for the site's added exposure more than the game itself most of the time.
