Intermissions are the parts in between Mario's chapters or the main story/plot. Most of them are about Peach finding information to help Mario on his quest. Another intermission would include Bowser's Super Mario Bros. type levels where you control Bowser in an SMB game. I always loved them and the Peach ones too because you can't really fail (well...sort of) but they're not hard.

The intermissions were okay, a few were fun, though. Baking the cake for Gourmet Guy was fun, but not the heating part. Same for the transparent potion. Bowser's intermissions were really fun, but too bad you could only play three SMB-themed levels. And yes, he does have a lot of humor when you given to select choices for him.

Yeah, the intermissions were cool. The ones with Peach on Paper Mario were awesome, but the ones in TTYD, idk... but they were not very fun, I thought they were very boring, especially the one with the position... Bowser brang lots of humor to TTYD, He really had some funny scenes there. =P
Peach's intermissions suuuuucked. I did not want to spend 5 minutes baking a fucking cake.
Bowser's SMB levels were beast though. Too bad they were the inspiration for the SPM crapfest.
