My illegal last minute entry! (Unless before-the-owner-comes-on counts as legal.... :I).
Mini-game is intended to be used in that Mario Party game I made... so it based on being playable on a forum. :U
The Battle Mini-game is...
Ice Breakers
(This is the base image, shows the grid and background).
Here is how the game works. Each player chooses 3 spots to drop bombs onto, being 1-9 from left to right (told to me by PM, also based on a turn system where once everyone is done choosing, I will state the results and start the next turn). Dropping a bomb will destroy the ice block below it (with some exceptions). Various blocks have different effects. The priority of the player's bombs is the reverse order of the main game.
The Blocks:
- Small - This block disappears when a bomb is dropped on it. No added effect.
- Large - This block disappears when a bomb is dropped on either half of it.
- Coin - This block disappears when a bomb is dropped on it. Gives the player an extra coin.
- Muncher - If your bomb hits this block, you get eliminated. CAN'T BE DESTROYED.
- Mystery - This block does one of many events when hit with a bomb.
The players get eliminated when their bomb hits a Muncher block at the bottom. Priority also determines order of elimination. The last one standing wins first place.
Tip: You can drop multiple bombs on the same place. Be warned though, if your priority is low you might end up having your bomb fall onto a Muncher block due to others ridding the blocks above it during the same turn.
Here's an example of the initial game image:
Examples of what the Mystery Block does...
- Doesn't get destroyed. Gets replaced by a small ice block.
- Destroys all blocks adjacent to it (being underneath, to the left, and to the right, however not activating effects). Also destroys itself.
- Disappears while causing the player to only drop 1 bomb during the next turn.
- Disappears while causing all the players to have to drop 5 bombs during the next turn.
- Disappears while giving the player 5 extra coins.
- Disappears while creating an ice block on top of each column. If the column already is at the highest point, that column would be ignored.
- Disappears while randomizing the priority of players during the next turn.
