Cannon Space

Land on this space and you can use a nearby Cannon to get closer to the Star Space, sent back to start, or even lose a turn. It is a 1 in 3 chance.

Sorry for the double post.

Im sorry if I come off as rude but you were supposed to create a space, not copy and paste a copyright image of a cannon from MPDS and come up with a description.

Ok let's see if I have some good imagination here...
So I am calling this space "Whirwind Space"
mariop10.gif

Basically, when landed, people are all changing spaces with each other. This name is original, a whirwind is originally designed on the space in question and I also put some kind of "windy animation" in this specific space.

I did not expect so many submissions. Vote for your favorite space! Remember, this is not an art contest and you should be voting for your favorite space idea. You have 1 day before the poll closes and the results are revealed.

EDIT: I also upped the first prize by 5 points.

Helven Space:

The Helven space; a mix between Heaven and Hell! When landed on, there is a 50 - 50 chance the players will be sent to heaven or hell. This space is very rare and there is only one per board.

helldr.png

Similar to the Wii Party concept, if you are unfortunate enough to be sent to hell, you have to try and escape as quickly as possible. Players will be surrounded by red-spaces and one Bowser space. They will be given a poison mushroom for the first turn only, where they can only move 1-3 spaces; In addition, the player will also temporarily lose the ability to use their items. There are 11 spaces between them and the exit so they'll have to hope their luck holds out. Everything returns to normal once they have escaped.

Also similar to the Wii Party concept; in heaven, there are 11 spaces between them, the exit and even a star! They are surrounded by blue spaces and 1 Boo space. They will have to move around the planet in order to reach the exit. Once they have reached the end, they will be greeted by a Luma, which will give you the opportunity to buy a star in return for 30 coins (10 coins above the average price). The player will then jump on a launch star and be sent back to the board.

Defense Up/Down Space:

DefenseUpandDefenseDown.png

The one on the left is the Defense Up Space, the one on the right is the Defense Down Space. They are Battle Royale Spaces. (Yeah I know there's a logo/watermark on the blue cracked shield, but I couldn't find a better image of a cracked shield LOL)

When a player lands on the Defense Up Space, he/she will lose a bit LESS from the NEXT attack (Boos, Roadblocks, Character Spaces, Bowser, Happenings, Items, etc.). After that one attack, the effect is gone until they land on one again. Landing on one while already having Defense up does NOT stack. But, landing on one while your Defense is already down will cancel out and make your defense go back to normal.

When a player lands on the Defense Down Space, he/she will lose a bit MORE from the NEXT attack (Boos, Roadblocks, Character Spaces, Bowser, Happenings, Items, etc.). After that one attack, the effect is gone until they land on one again. Landing on one while already having Defense Down does NOT stack. But, landing on one while your Defense is already up will cancel out and make your defense back to normal.

Koopalings Space:

My space is a Koopalings Space! (Sorry for the lame artwork, I am not a great computer artist... ): lol)

IMAGE:

NAME: Koopalings Space (Semi-Rare)
APPERANCE: A Green Space with a Koopa Clown Car on there.
WHAT IT DOES: It summons Kamek, with a wheel. You will have to spin to summon one of the Koopalings or Bowser Jr. Each of them has a different effect, some positive, some negative.

*Lemme Koopa - Throws a Bouncy Bomb to steal 10 coins from a random player, and gives them to you.
*Morton Koopa Jr. - Makes a Giant Pokey block a random conjunction for 3 turns.
*Wendy O' Koopa - Will toss Magical Rings at you, making you lose a star, and giving it to a player of your choice.
*Larry Koopa - Switches the Place of everyone on the board.
*Iggy Koopa - Changes the Star Location (If possible). If not possible, he will swap everyone's coins and stars and items around.
*Roy Koopa - Summons Bullet Bills to make everyone have an equal amount of coins.
*Ludwig von Koopa - Multiplies the star into 3, 1 of which is real, 2 of which are ztars. (If Possible), If not possible, he will place a ztar around the board somewhere, and someone MUST get it.
*Bowser Jr - Starts a Bowser Jr. Minigame.

Birthday Space
First Appearence: MPIRx (May 2012)
Latest Appearence: MPIN (Oct 2012)
Rarity: Rare

EFFECT
Happy Birthday!! Let's have some cake and party!! Landing on this space will trigger a birthday celebration just for you! On the next turn, ALL of your opponents will have to give all their earnings to you. What does this mean? Well, let's say one of your rivals gets 20 Coins by landing on a space, starting an event, or whatever else; those 20 Coins will go to you instead of him/her!

This can be really useful on getting a lead, especially if someone wants to purchase a star! He/she may pay for it, but it will go to you! After the turn is over, your birthday event will be over and everybody has moved, it's time to go back to normal gameplay! This Space may be strong, but it's rare, so you'll always feel really lucky to land on it!

Bowser VS! Space:

BOWSER VS! Space.
This space can help or hurt ANYONE in the game.
A random roulette wheel will decide who will Vs Bowser in a duel mini game.
(The person who lands on the space is not safe from the roulette)
Bowser is a good as a COM on Master Difficulty.
If the person who is battling him loses, they lose all their money and 1 star (if they have one)
If the player wins, all Bowser spaces on the board disappear for 5 turns, AND the player receives 50 coins. ( AND the player is safe from any Bowser related mischief for the entire game.)

(don't mind the ugliest space in history, that I made)

Toadette Space:

TOADETTE SPACE

The Toadette Space works similar to a Bowser Space, but only appears in Toadette's Music Room. You get sent to a mysterious un-named area that looks similar to a Game Show set, where Toadette is waiting for you all dressed up, ready to host her newest hit game:
WHEEL!
OF!
EVIL!!
16198_336641356443928_504660837_n.jpg

And YOU'RE her lucky contestant! Simply sit in your seat (like the Slave you are) and spin that evil wheel! Whatever space the Demon's Tongue sticks to determines your fate!
Outcomes (each has a 1 out of 7 chance of happening):
Lose Coin: Toadette takes 20 coins (or all if you have less than 20) from you. If you have no coins, Toadette will just send you away.
Lose Item: Toadette snatches a random item. If you have no items, she'll take 5 coins.
Lose Star: Toadette steals one star. If you have no stars, she'll take 10 coins.
Lose Coin x2: Toadette takes 40 coins (or all if you have less than 40) from you. If you have no coins, Toadette will give you a item, the Pink Coin Shock, which can be used to steal 20 coins from an opponent.
Lose Item x2: Toadette snatches two random items. If you have no items, she'll take 10 coins and give you an item, the Pink Item Shock, which can be used to steal an item from an opponent.
Lose Star x2: Toadette steals two stars. If you have no stars, she'll take 20 coins and will give you an item, the Pink Star Shock, which can be used to steal a star from an opponent.
Winner!: You get to keep all your Stars, Items and Coins, and Toadette will (angrily) send you off!

Who knows what could happen, Toadette isn't here to help or hurt you, she just likes to cause mayhem, and enjoys a good joke from time to time.

Good Luck...

Battle Space (Red Bob-Omb)

Similar to the battle space in MP4. When landed on, everybody gets warped to the space. it start's a battle mini-game. No coins are wagered for these battles. After the minigame is over, there will be rewards. The ranking is as follows:

1st - Receive 10 coins and shot from a cannon (from SM64) to the star space, where you can buy the star for 20 coins.
2nd - Receive 10 coins and shot to a random space.
3rd - Receive 5 coins and shot to a random space.
4th - Receive 0 coins and shot to a random space.

(+G5) Also made a topic for General Gaming.

Direction Space:
morteriser said:
I'm stating this according to my game's Space Information standard, which is why it is in this structure and somewhat compact.
(Oh, and does it count as a space if you can never land on it? :I)

343j2qc.png
Direction Space: This forces you to go in the direction it is pointing. Does not count towards your dice roll. Having a Skeleton Key Capsule can allow you to change the direction of the Direction Space when you pass it (uses up the Skeleton Key Capsule). Direction can also change based on Event Spaces. If you are Mini when you reach this space, you can completely ignore the direction it points at and go in any direction you want.

Detailed Description (for here only): If you go into a Direction Space pointing towards where you came from, it would act like those doors from MP3 which required a Skeleton Key, forcing you to go backwards until you can't go forward into it no more. If anything, this is supposed to give another reason to use the Skeleton Key Capsule (because just unlocking a path isn't that neat.. how about unlocking a possibility of 4 different paths?). Of course it comes at the price of permanent direction change when you use the Skeleton Key, but hey they could help out with plenty of strategies to mess other people up. As usual, one of the events of the Event Space will cause all the Direction Space to rotate to some random direction, likely changing the board completely. And the idea that if you are Mini when you reach the space was just to give a little niche to the worst capsule ever (it was made to be the worst capsule ever), and as usual, it would be difficult to actually cross this space when Mini due to the dice limit. Still, gives a few little niches to mostly disliked capsules, except to me (and probably everyone) it makes the Mini Capsule stupider due to the unnecessary difficulty of performing such a niche.

(And yes, I plan on using this space in future boards for MPDX... then again I have only made two so far... :/).
