Peach was the only character to have her model completely changed for one of her palette swaps. Transforming her into Daisy. I thought this was pretty cool and I wish they would have done this for more of the clone characters. Like Dr. Mario could have easily just been a Mario palette swap.

Yeah, or at least remade this in later games. But it would've been cool to see model/texture changes to other characters as well.
Wish they did the same for Dr. Mario and a few other clones..
