Classic Stages

In SSBM, the introduction of retro boards was made. This one included three boards from the original SSB. Those three stages are Dream Land, Yoshi's Island and Kongo Jungle. So what did you think of this? Discuss about it!!

Personally, I think this was an awesome addition for the game. My personal favorite has to be Dream Land for the awesome music that plays. I never really had the chance to play the original SSB, unfortunately. Also, most of them aren't annoying stages, Yoshi Island is probably the most annoying when characters go to the far east for items or whatever, but it's easily acceptable. Kongo Jungle is just cool, nuff said. :p

P.S: I'd post images, but I'm lazy atm. xP

Kongo Jungle is exactly like the other two stages though haha. Pretty much all three of the retro stages have the same Battlefield-esque design with a little exception with Yoshi's Island.

Those were the only stages in SSB64 that resembled Battlefield. Zebes had the lava and camera angles, Hyrule was basically a giant world, Sector Z was just the large Great Fox spanning across the screen, and Mushroom Kingdom had all sorts of shit everywhere lol.

I was thinking there were more in that game, weird, but the Mario stage that you started with was king of like a Battlefield stage, with a moving platform, bumper and double ramp things.
