Why do you think they made MP9 have car mode rather than classic? I think its because many people didn't like 8 (don't know why) so they tried to change it. What do you think?

In the tutorial on Nintendo Channel a while ago thay said it was so everyone could keep up to each other on the board. Kinda dumb if you ask me.

I think I have seen an article somewhere that states the old formula was getting old and stale. I don't know where that article went, but I guess ND Cube wanted to do something different instead of using the same thing for the past games.

I think it was mainly to do with abandoning Hudson Soft after the failure of Mario Party 8. They wanted a change with new and fresh ideas of their own so it didn't feel like a Hudson game.

I have never had a problem with the old MP style formula and personally I want the old style back, it's the only thing I would change in the series thus far. I understand ND Cube wanted to try something new but the car mode is just not connecting with me.
