What are some of your favorite (3)DS rpgs? Also general (3)DS rpg discussion I guess.

Magical Starsign was pretty good. Not too unique or anything but had good graphics and the battle style was a bit different than the typical rpg game. Only 20 hours, though. Still pretty good.

Phantasy Star 0 was one of the best DS games I played. Has a lot of similarities to Xenoblade Chronicles (imo) which makes me wonder if the latter was 'inspired' by it.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn was alright. Was pretty long IIRC (I think something like 40 hours or something? I forget) and I remember some of the overworld abilities being a pain to use. Pretty good, though.

Xenobladr Chronicles is probably my favorite out of these so far. Gameplay's more interesting than most rpgs and the locations look spectacular. Long as hell, too. Haven't finished it yet but I'm at 74 hours...
 
The only DS RPG i played was Bowser's Inside Story LMAO (Which is easily my favorite M&L Game)
But that's because i wasnt that interested in RPGs Back then

Since i got my cousin's Wii, i'll give a chance to Xenoblade Chronicles.

3DS RPGs i played only include: Dream Team, Paper Jam (in the future), and more i'll think on buying LOL

I forgot Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Explorers of Time made me cry back when I was 14. :p

Also liked that tactical rpg Bleach game if that counts. Has a decent bit of character interaction and leveling? Pretty good.

Not sure if Custom Robo Arena counts, but it was indisputably the best ds game ever made. :p

Yeah I'm pretty sure Pokemon are pretty vanilla RPGs, just with a huge amount of possible party members. TBH I'd count anything with an overworld and something resembling a storyline an rpg. They're probably among my favorites too but I didn't include them because they're kind of obvious? Also don't have the level of feels most of the ones I listed do. :p

You should totally get Xenoblade though. 101010101010/10
