Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong is the sixth character of the Mario Party series. He has only been playable in Mario Party through Mario Party 5. Because of this, we do not know his primary color, although it could be brown. He owns multiple boards, such as Donkey Kong’s Jungle Adventure (Mario Party), DK’s Treetop Temple (Mario Party 8), and DK’s Stone Statue (Mario Party DS). In Mario Party 5, he has his own space, and it continued until Mario Party 9, where he has his own board and space. Due to this, he is not playable from Mario Party 6 to Mario Party: Island Tour. However, despite him not being playable in the normal modes of Mario Party 5, he is indeed playable in the Super Duel Mode. In Mario Party 2 and 3, his favorite item is the Golden Mushroom, which allows you to use three dice. In Mario Party 4, his favorite item is the Mini-Mega Hammer, which allows you to choose a character and force that character to be minimized or megamized. After a long time of not being playable, he finally returned to play in Mario Party 10.

He is also known as DK, is a powerful hero Kong from Donkey Kong Island. In fact, there have been two separate Donkey Kongs. The original Donkey Kong from the Donkey Kong arcade game eventually became Cranky Kong, while his son (Donkey Kong Jr.) or grandson became the current Donkey Kong. (Nintendo frequently back-pedals on this issue, however. Since the end of the Donkey Kong Country series, most of Nintendo’s official materials [strategy guides, Smash Bros. trophies, etc.] describe the hero of “Donkey Kong Country” as being the same character who clashed with Mario in the 1980 game). The current Donkey Kong, designed by Rare, is a carefree simian who spends his days collecting bananas and spending time with his friends, particularly his buddy Diddy Kong. However, when trouble arises, Donkey Kong jumps headfirst into the action to help his friends and protect his island mainly from the evil King K. Rool. Donkey Kong’s character design was created by Shigeru Miyamoto for the Donkey Kong arcade game. He is voiced by Takashi Nagasako in most of the games as of 2004.
