A fan-made hack of New Super Mario Bros. U for the Wii U is currently in development. This new mod called Newer Super Mario Bros. U was just announced as the third entry in the Newer series and is set to feature new and modified enemies, new levels, original music, and brand new world themes. It’s still quite early in development, so no release date has been revealed.
The first entry, Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, was a highly impressive hack on the Wii released back in 2013, and a follow-up is set to release for the DS sometime in 2016. Newer Super Mario Bros. DS received a new trailer as well, and you can watch it below!
