As we all should have expected, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games was announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct this morning. Just like previous entries in the series, a Wii U version along with a 3DS version will be released, both featuring different sports and modes. This time you can expect to dive into some beach volleyball, table tennis, rugby, golf, and plenty more!
Nabbit and Diddy Kong are new playable characters, as well as Rouge the Bat and Jet the Hawk. Nothing has been said about a release date, but expect to be playing the game before the end of the year!
