The official website for the two upcoming Super Smash Bros. titles is once again making updates on a regular basis. Similar to the Super Smash Bros. Dojo for Brawl, the official website will post images from both games five times a week. Whether this means we get announcements and characters reveals is still up in the air, but rest assured that new content is always coming your way. Keep checking back to this post as we update everything that is released for this week! A new post will be made for the next week.

Here’s a look at the revival platforms. The color of the bottom mechanism changes from yellow to red to warn you how much time you have left before you drop into the fray.

The rocket belt from Pilotwings lets you fly upward by jumping. This is a really useful item for characters that have weaker recoveries. By the way, is that cape fireproof?

Characters that have heavy damage slowly start to emit steam. When your opponent starts to get nice and smoky, give ‘em a solid attack!

You can charge up Ike’s Eruption attack by holding the button down, but remember to release it right before it fully charges to avoid recoil damage. Let go of the button at the moment the sword shines!

Here’s a first look at the bottom-screen display for the Nintendo 3DS. Your name will appear in the area above the accumulated damage. And if you tap one of the fighter displays…!

…You can highlight that fighter on your screen. This is useful when you want to get back at a particular opponent. You can also highlight yourself if you need to keep better track of where you are. This is a great benefit to having your own individual screen.

A veteran of the Forum, you'll probably know me as H-J (Kaabii) or 8B1T. My main role on the website is as an assistant editor. My favorite Nintendo franchises are Mario, Kirby and Legend of Zelda, though I do have fleeting moments of entering fandoms beyond the Big N (mainly Japan only stuff).

If there’s a Nintendo Direct Prior to E3 Next Week, it would be perfect to introduce the missing pokemon from the end of the Smash Direct’s Trailer. It gives Greninja a Weakness and Charizard a Strength.

-eyeroll- I’m not a fan of inherent weakness cycles in a fighting game unless it’s about air/ground/mixup/space control advantage.
This isn’t Pokken or whatever that rumored Pokémon fighting game is/was.

You realized that lucario is strong against greninja and weak against charizard

Grass is Weak against Fire and Strong against Water.

          Ok, let’s stop this here.

            No.

Why do they have to stop anyway?
